Step 2: Rinse the rice well using water. You should wash the rice till the water remains clear when you are washing them.
Step 3: You should now add water to the rice. If you are taking one cup of rice, then you should add at least one and half cup of water for proper cooking. Step 4: Add this rice and water to the pressure cooker and close the lid for cooking.

Step 7: Once the time of 3 minutes is finished, now you should remove the pressure cooker from the burner or switch off the pressure cooker and leave it for at least 10 minutes without opening the pressure cooker lid. It is going to take 10 more minutes to finish the remaining cooking process.
Step 8: Now, after 10 minutes open the lid of the pressure cooker, you can use a fork to fluff the rice. This is going to help in removing the remaining moisture content in the rice.
Step 9: Serve rice hot along with any side dish.
Depending on the quantity of rice, you will have to increase the three minutes duration of pressure cooking the rice. You can double the time when the rice quantity of doubled. You can add a small pinch of salt to the rice to taste. Also, a tablespoon of Olive oil or any cooking oil to the rice before you start cooking the rice. This will keep the rice from getting sticky to each other.
